As Nigerians welcome the second ministerial list sent to the National Assembly by President Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the APC in Osogbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Olubukola Oyewo, has lauded the selection of the immediate past governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola.
In a statement on Thursday, Oyewo congratulated the ministerial nominee for making the cut from a pool of eminent party men and women who could serve in President Tinubu's government.
The former House of Representatives member, who commended the president for selecting capable hands” said, “for us in Osun State, Oyetola‘s appointment did not come as a surprise.
“Alhaji Oyetola has distinguished himself and has shown capacity in his previous post as Governor of our dear state. His selection is very welcomed to the APC family in Osun.
“I am confident and sure that His Excellency can function creditably well with any portfolio given to him at the end of the day.”
“President Tinubu has shown that he is committed to the success and development of Nigeria through the quality of individuals he has chosen so far to be work with him.
“Congratulations to His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola on his well deserved nomination as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Congratulations to Osun APC and to all Nigerians,” Oyewo noted in the statement.
