Marine And Blue Economy: Adereti Rejoices With Oyetola

The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate in the last 2023 general election, Engr. Benjamin Adereti has congratulated former Governor of Osun State, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola on his appointment as a Minister for Marine and Blue Economy.


Adereti, in a congratulatory message, described Oyetola's appointment as a well deserved one.


He expressed the belief that the nation would benefit significantly from Oyetola’s wealth of experience and depth of knowledge in government. He said Oyetola will transform Nigeria’s maritime landscape.

 

Adereti said Oyetola is a capable individual who will contribute effectively to the implementation of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's government policies.


"The appointment of Oyetola as a Minister for Marine and Blue Economy is indeed a well-deserved one and he is a capable individual who will prove useful in implementing the President’s policies.”


Oyetola, who is the immediate past governor of the state and a current minister in president Bola Ahmed Tinubu cabinet.


He said the former Governor will bring into bear his experience in public service to develop maritime industry of the nation's sector of the economy.


Oyetola’s appointment as Minister of Marine and Blue Economy is said to hold an era of unparalleled advancement and ingenuity.


It would be recalled that Oyetola was sworn in as Minister for Marine and Blue Economy on Monday by President Bola Tinubu while he assumed office immediately.


"His appointment is a round peg in a round hole, significant step toward harnessing the potential of Nigeria’s maritime resources for sustainable development.


“Your forward-looking leadership holds the potential for an era of unparalleled advancement and ingenuity".


Adereti continued that “Oyetola’s appointment has been met with widespread acclaim, both within political circles and among the public.


“Recognised for his strategic thinking and unwavering commitment to development, Oyetola is poised to lead the nation’s efforts in leveraging its maritime potential to drive economic growth and environmental preservation,” he said.
