The Chairman of Orisun Igbomina FM in Osun State, Mr. Ayodele Agboola, has said that he has been ordained by his Creator to help the needy, while also reiterating his foundation’s commitment to eliminating poverty in Nigeria.
The foremost philanthropist emphasized that the Ayodele Agboola Foundation(AAF) is currently implementing programmes and policies that would empower widows, orphans, the elderly, students, youths, and other vulnerable groups to combat the challenges of poverty.
Mr. Ayodele Agboola gave the hint on Saturday during the September 2023 edition of AAF's mega empowerment programme held in Ila-Orangun.
"We are implementing programmes and policies to empower our citizens to combat the challenges of poverty. From supporting aged widows, providing business grants, responding to the educational needs of students from poor families, funding medical surgeries and provision of food items to extremely poor individuals, our foundation has remained vigilant in devising solutions to endemic poverty in our host community, Ila-Orangun town”, Ayodele Agboola said.
Over 300 less privileged individuals were captured in the charity's recent empowerment exercise.
The core mandate of Ayodele Agboola Foundation is to reach out to the target beneficiaries through charity, health interventions, agric support, care for elderly widows, and educational scholarship.
