The Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Cooperative and Empowerment, Hon. Durojaye Isaac has congratulated Hon.Taofeek Ajilesoro on his victory at the Osun State House of Representatives Election Petition Tribunal which declared him the validly elected member of the House of Representatives, Ife federal constituency.
Durojaye in his congratulatory message, described the victory of Ajilesoro at the tribunal as attestation to the mandate freely given to him by the good people of Ife federal constituency during the February, 2023 House of Representatives Election.
He said his triumph is a victory for democracy and the will of the people of Ife federal constituency who elected him to represent them at the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
Durojaye noted: "Your journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, showcasing your resilience, courage, and commitment to the service of the people of your federal constituency.
"Throughout the legal process, you have demonstrated exemplary leadership and a steadfast belief in the principles of justice and fairness. Your perseverance has finally resulted in the realization of your rightful mandate, bringing hope and inspiration to countless individuals who believe in the power of democracy.
"The people of Ifeland have placed their trust in you, and I have no doubt that you will work tirelessly to fulfill the aspirations and dreams of the people. Your passion for public service, vision for progress, and unwavering dedication to the welfare of the people will undoubtedly guide you in the path ahead"
The statement noted further that, now that you have been affirmed as representative of Ife federal constituency, you are urged to develop a robust partnership with government at all levels to bring dividends of democracy to the people of your constituency.
"I have full confidence that you will be magnanimous in victory and also, lead with integrity, wisdom, and compassion. Your second term as a ranking MHR is an opportunity to bring about positive change, uplift communities, and foster an environment of inclusivity, progress, and development.
"The people of Ife federal constituency are confident that under your leadership, the constituency will experience unprecedented growth and prosperity, and the lives of our people will be transformed for the better.
"Without mincing words, I beseech you to continue to spread the dividends of democracy across the nooks and crannies of your as you had done in your first term by allowing the son of nobody to become somebody without knowing anybody.
Durojaye stated that the challenges ahead may be great, but with your leadership and the support of the people, I am confident that you will lead the constituency towards a brighter future.
